Bank of England Base Rate is at its lowest level for 400 years.

Amazingly we received a call from a client last week who is now paying more for her cleaner than her mortgage! This is a great story but perhaps also a great demonstration of how unsustainable this must be.

How can lenders afford to do this – the answer is – they can’t. It does seem unlikely that interest rates could go down. In my opinion its possible they could go up. It might be a good time to consider fixing your interest rate. Please do call us to discuss your options
