21 May London’s House Prices Carry On Outperforming
This morning’s City A.M. hosts an article showing how London’s house prices are performing.
Initially it seems amazing that prices – especially in the smarter part of town – are higher now than even at the height of the boom in 2008. Take a look at http://www.cityam.com/wealth-management/house-prices-the-capital-are-detached-location
It’s not surprising really though. The pound has been devalued and the money is coming in. Britain has retained its AAA status. It’s actually a very pleasant place to live.
London is being regenerated. If you haven’t seen the Crossrail development – you should take a look at the amazing state of various tube stations. What has happened at Tottenham Court Road alone is amazing. Whole blocks have disappeared around the capital.
It’s a major project and no doubt all sort of headlines lie ahead. However more people will be able to get into the capital from 2017 much much more quickly.
So don’t worry about property prices in London. Loughborough however…
